UP - review

Pixar/Disney continues to deliver with UP - one of the best movies (animated or not) to come out in a long time.

I'm still amazed at how the Pixar group can craft a story that is ultimately simple yet classic but can tear out your heart in the best way possible. The story montage in the beginning has very little dialogue but it spoke VOLUMES with its visual tale. As emotional as I have been lately, the only thing I needed to have with me was a box of tissues.

I don't like real reviews because I hate knowing anything about a movie because I want every moment to surprise me. All I can say is that it is worth watching, definitely shoot for the 3-D screening, and I loved each character with Dug the dog being as adorable as you'd imagine.

I plan to watch UP a second time, sooner than later, and this time, I'll go in prepared which means, no eye make-up and plenty of Kleenex. GO!
