What the hell is going on with EDWARD NORTON?

So, the prickly actor goes from near obscurity to being EVERYWHERE all of a sudden, including a ridiculous appearance on MODERN FAMILY.

Norton won't do media for his Hollywood films but he has done countless talkshows to promote his latest endeavor (granted, kudos to him for being supportive of something he believes in) the docu BY THE PEOPLE.

But why the odd appearance as a member of Spandau Ballet on MODERN FAMILY.  Now, I think Norton is a fantastic actor, but I do not think accents are his strong suit, so as funny as his bit may have been, his doing a British accent was too distracting to be believable.  Plus, it was just a very WTF inducing moment.

Did he suddenly take some sort of anti-depressant, stopped taking himself so damn seriously, and has decided to rejoin the parts of Hollywood that likes to provide entertainment?

Meh.  *shrug*  We shall see.
