To be a kind of way to archive items into my (failing) Memory Warehouse...
BULLOCK'S
Ah, it would be Buffy: The Vampire Slayer to throw out this single word and make me devolve into a mass of memories of hanging out at the mall in my youth.
And I swear, would anyone (not in my age group) even KNOW what Bullock's is/was? :sigh:
Bullock's was devoured by Macy's, folks.
And speaking of shops-no-longer, remember The May Co. buying Robinson's to become the dreadful Robinsons*May? :shudder:
Oh, and then there was I. Magnin - I think where... Hell. It's been THAT long since I've been to Del Amo Mall (actually Del Amo Fashion Center but we never called it THAT) that I am not sure what is where anymore.
