Jeff Goldblum - Law & Order: Criminal Intent

8.2 - Rock Star - 4/26/09

Introduction of Jeff Goldblum to the cast. It was full of Goldblum-isms and had a restrained quirkiness I really appreciated. I think once he gets settled into his character, Det. Zach Nichols (not that we really need to know this as he's just Jeff Goldblum throughout, even showcasing his talent at playing keyboards in his very first ep - oh boy!) we will get a heavier dosage of the odd Goldblum looks and humor we expect.

It'll be interesting to see if Det. Nichols will make it a habit of "solving" the crime while in the middle of an arrest, which fits in with the quirky genius finding out something new about himself while in the middle of his own satisfaction of being a mastermind. (Sounds like I'm calling his a jerk, but he's not - he's just Goldblum.)

Yay.
