Sally Albright lives on even 20 years later

WHEN HARRY MET SALLY -
Sally: I'd like the chef salad please with oil and vinegar on the side, and the apple pie a la mode.
Waitress: Chef and apple a la mode.
Sally: But I'd like the pie heated, and I don't want the ice cream on top. I want it on the side, and I'd like strawberry instead of vanilla if you have it. If not, then no ice cream, just whipped cream, but only if it's real. If it's out of the can, then nothing.
Waitress: Not even the pie?
Sally: No, just the pie, but then not heated.
Waitress: Uh huh.

While I am not that bad, as Sally said, " Well, I just want it the way I want it." In this life, aren't such little pleasures easy things to ask for?

I am particular about my food especially about the ends and the middle of items such as burritos, cake, sandwiches, etc. However, even my beloved LP can't recall which foods I prefer the ends for, and which I prefer the middle. It still surprises him when I say, "yay" or "eww" for certain foods. Of course, it all makes sense to me. (^_^) But here is a breakdown (and tell me if you could remember this list):

I LIKE the ends/edges of:
burritos
eggrolls
steaks
pretzel bread (I like all parts of these guys!)
corndogs

I HATE the ends/edges of:
torpedo or baguette sandwiches
cake
pizza (that's right - I don't like the crust)
hotdogs or hamburgers
cornbread
brownies
cinnamon rolls
pie (except Polly's Pies' chocolate cream pie - that crust is flaky awesome)
prime rib (I like the bloody middle)
loaves of bread (I throw out the bookend edges from the bag or won't touch that piece in the bread basket)

Food talk = yum.
