Listened and liked - a-ha's Foot of the Mountain album



Well, it took me a while to absorb the music but I'm pleased to say I am really enjoying the album Foot of the Mountain. It's light and catchy and probably the direction Keane should have stayed with (vs. what their latest album has devolved into).

Morten's unique vocals truly enhance the songs and it doesn't hurt that the men still look pretty damn hot.

It's closer to Lifelines than Minor Earth, Major Sky in the tone of the songs, but the quality is up there with the latter. 2010 brings the promise of a tour, to which I can only hope they'll include Los Angeles this time, though I'm up to going to another city if need be. (The only reason I missed their NYC show in September 2007 - gee, I think it was 2007? - was that Oasis was playing the Hollywood Bowl the same night. Sigh.)
